Making Room for Something New at Flint & Flowers

Things are blooming a little differently around Flint & Flowers this month.

There’s concrete curing, lumber going up and even a Tiny House on the move. Our little storage house—temporarily home to linens and guest amenities—had to make quite a journey across the property to get out of the way. It’s now tucked mostly out of sight, awaiting its next adventure.

In its place, something much more exciting is taking shape.

We’re keeping a few surprises under wraps, but imagine an extra-large, double-shot, hot latte with a little milk and thick froth. Or an Americano. Black.

Maybe Bunny Grahams for snacking under the stars, a yogurt cup before a morning adventure, a little treat for the dog, and enough ice to keep the cooler happy.

We’re building on something that was already here. The big roof that covered our Tiny House has long been part of our rainwater collection system. Instead of retiring with the building, it’s getting a new job: the roof of our new Provision House. It will keep right on collecting rainwater while something entirely new takes shape beneath it.

There’s still plenty of sawdust between here and opening day—and a few surprises we aren’t ready to share quite yet. So, what’s blooming at Flint & Flowers this month? Apparently, a whole building.
